here you can find the character descriptions for the seven seishi of suzaku

Mitsukake the silentt warrior. Another
character banned into obscurity. But
unlike chiriko, more is known about him.
With the mark of suzkau on the palm of his
hand, mitsukake has the power to heal. His
father a doctor before him, mitsukake
followed in his steps feeding off of his
natural talent to heal. With his beloved
shoka by his side he couldnt live a happier
life.
Away from his home village Mituskake was
unaware that Shoka had become ill, and
became worse as each day passed. She
held on as long as she could waiting for her
beloved Mitsukake to be by her side, but
by the time he arrived, it was to late,
shoka had fallen to the plague that ravaged
her body.

Mitsukake felt as though he had lost everything and went into seclusion.
When miaka and co. arrive they seek him for medical help (unaware at
the time that he was a seishi) but he denied them of any insight that
would heal the now plagued and quickly deteriorating miaka. But when the
gang goes back a second time explaining to him that their is a a women in
the village whom can bring back the dead, who just so happens to be
named shoka, he instantly abandons his solitude to help.
as it would go, Shoka is indeed Mitsukakes shoka of yore, now possesed by
a demon, and this time he is able to save her (soul) with his healing
powers. Although still in remorse about the past, he is somewhat at peace
