Shi Jin Ten Chi Sho
I summon all the great forces
of justice, faith, and goodwill
from the four corners of heaven
and the four quarters of the earth
to call on you the divine (insert beast god)
we ask that you descend
from the seven constellations
to the earth, to protect us
and destroy all evil with your divine powers,
for the sake of the people who worship you.
we summon you thus!
Descend upon us from the heavens!
The above text is the incantation that the miko recites during the god calling
ceremony in efforts to bring forth the beast god and get her three wishes
granted by intertwining with so said god.
the Shi Jin Ten Chi Sho is the actually book that the miko's go forth into to
arrive in the land that bring forth  their destiny.
Shi Jin Ten Chi Sho literally breaks down into
Shi = Four
Jin = Gods
Ten = Sky
Chi = Earth
Sho = Book
So a more literal translation would be the" four gods sky earth book", as
apposed to the officially but less accurate "Universe of the four gods" Which
was used on official merchandise due to Fushigi Yuugi having so many
meanings, and to offer a little less confusion. The translation Universe of the
Four gods has obviously borrowed inspiration from the Four gods sky earth
book name.
