Ashitare
Ashitare, more beast than human, has the
ability to transform from wolf, to man
wolf. Unable to speak his only form of
communication is through grunts and
growls. He tends to be very loyal to Nakago,
whether this loyalty is out of
admiration/devotion or fear, no one knows
for sure. Nakago rescued him from a freak
show where he was caged up and treated
extremely badly, not mentioning all the
pointing and laughing that was done to him
on a daily bases. Although rescue is not a
fitting description to what Nakago does for
him. Since despite doing what Nakago
wishes he is beat with that whip of his of
anything goes even the slightest big wrong.
Despite killing a suzaku seishi, and stealing
the genbu shinzaho Nakago is still not
pleased, and kills the vile beast himself. You
tend to feel pity for him, but he really is a
wild animal, with no sense of reasoning, so
its hard to connect with him as a
character, and can only really been seen as
a villain.
