Amiboshi
here you can find the character descriptions for the seven seishi of
seiryuu. this is your last chance to turn back. MAJOR SPOILERS are in
these descriptions. I have held nothing back. If you have not and seen or

amiboshi paired up with his twin brother suboshi is
steeped in ancient lore/mythology. Firstly the fact
that these two are twins. There are many myths
and legends world over that involve twin gods, ,
which depends on where you are could be viewed as
good or bad. But alot of creation myths involve
twins (although they are usually male and female).
Twins in some cultures are also called
doppelgangers, or shadow versions of each other.
aka the good twin and the evil twin, sharing
opposing qualities of one another.
Watase also incorporated the yin and yang principle
into these two characters. Amiboshi has a more yin
personality, gentle and submissive amiboshi is more
loving and caring than his brother. while suboshi is
more yang. masculine and aggressive, he seems to
thrive on war fare, and fighting.
Now we all know about the foul trick amiboshi
played on the suzaku seishi, pretending to be
chiriko and thus ruining the summoning ceremony.
Although he did what he thought was he seiryuu
duty, and what he was told by Nakago who seemed
to be running the show, amiboshi enjoyed his time
with the suzaku crew, and regretted what he had
done. And could only wish that they have met under
different circumstances, and perhaps that he too
could have been born under the suzaku star instead.

After the scroll was thrown into the fire, and all hope was lost of summoning
suzaku the seishi gave chase to the impostor. During his attempt to escape
amiboshi had fallen into a river flooding from heavy rain. but seiryuu was
not yet through with the boy, and he drifted ashore in sailo where an older
couple who had lost a son about his age took him in as their own. He had
pretended to have lost his memories, and suppressing his life force so
nakago and his brother would think he was dead. all in an effort to prevent
seiryuu from being summoned hoping it would stop the war, and so he could
live peaceful life.
all was going good until miaka came along. separated from the others
amiboshi saved her from a gaint weasel, and took her back to his new home.
amiboshi as this point expressed feelings for miaka, asking her to drink a
potion that makes you forget and then they could live together in peace. she
almost goes for it, but realizes she must go back and stand up for what she
believes in, and for what is right. this resonates with amiboshi, and he goes
back with her. only to be confronted by tomo. amiboshi tries his best to
protect suzaku no miko, with is chi channeling flute, but tomo's magic is
much to strong. before tomo could give the final blow, suboshi puts his
ryuuseisui right through him.
amiboshi pleads with his brother for him and himself to drink the forgetting
potion and they can both live peaceful lives in sailo with the old couple.
suboshi forcefully (through mouth to mouth) has his brother drink the
potion, and apologetically tells his brother that he's in love with yui and
cannot leave her side. amiboshi falls into a deep slumber and when he wakes
up he knows nothing of his past of being a seiryuu seishi, nor of his twin
brother.
