Appare Jipangu (Amazing Japan) is pure comedy. Watase did this light hearted manga to get away from the heavy drama that takes over Ayashi no Ceres, which she was doing at the same time.
Appare Jipangu! follows Yusura an orphan who when her adoptive parents found her she had with her a Kongomaru. which when she grows up will use to fight sadness becoming a Hikeshiya ... charging a small fee of course. With her sidekick Minekichi, and love interest, blind as a bat, Samon, and a whole bunch of other rowdy characters, will Yusura every find her birth parents? Or figure out that she's fallen in love with Samon? |
