Sakura Gari is Watase first yaoi (boy love story) manga. She came up with the story 14 years prior to its release with an assistant, and was determined to get it published a few years ago. When Watase heard that Flowers magazine was coming out with a new magazine (which would be called Rinka) She knew she had her chance. Since this series has already been planned out to the end, Watase announced this series will only be three tankoubon long. |
