Takiko's father, einosuke is the man who
translated the shi jin ten chi sho (universe of the
four gods) he is a popular writer in his time,
which causes him to be away from home for long
periods conduction research for his books. This
causes resentment from takiko who feels that he
neglects his family. einsouke's determination to
write and research the shi jin ten chi sho is in
efforts to cure his dying wife yoshie from
tuberculosis. He follows his daughters journey in
the pages of the book, and realizes where he has
fallen short of being a parent. when she briefly
returns home he tries to prevent her from
returning, but the book has taken on a mind of its

the families best interest in mind, and hopes one

Boraate is the mother of tomite, and helped takiko
in realizing the importance of her self being to the
people of hokkan. She is a kind and caring
individual, but also asserts a stern side where
tomite is concerned. She believes deeply into the
legend of the four gods, and that her son along with
the other warriors will bring hokkan out of the
depths of despair that so many of its people suffer.

Soruen is rumdo's teacher, body guard, and
everything inbetween. and has been living life on
the run keeping rumido safe, it is the duty of
soruen and tauru, soruens father, who obeys the
wishes of rumdios mother which whom the wakaosa
family has served for many generations.
