Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden is the prequel to the popular manga and anime series Fushigi Yuugi. This time around we follow the frist priestess to enter the Universe of the Four Gods, Takiko Okuda, Genbu no Miko.
Unlike Fushigi Yuugi of yore, Genbu Kaiden is a much more serious, and mature story. This is a deep story, especially for those of us who have already read fushigi yuugi, and know how Takiko's tale will end...
The Genbu Kaiden manga began in 2003, and is still currently running. Drama Cd's and merchandise galore, including a Video game for the Playstation 2, and Psp has been released for this highly anticiapated manga series.
