Yuu Watase is a Japanese Manga (comic Book) author. And is a big name in Shojo (girls) manga.
Watase was born in March, in a town near Osaka, Japan. where was raised, until she moved to Tokyo to follow her dream in becoming a Manga-ka (manga author) She has more than 50 volumes of short stories, and continuing series under he belt. Her debut manga Pajama De Ojama, was released in Sho-comi in 1989.
Watase is most known for her works "Fushigi Yuugi", and Ayashi no Ceres (Ceres Celestial Legend) Which have made their way to be translated into many different languages across the world.
Watase is still producing manga, in Sho-comi, as well as Rinka magazines. There is also the Perfect World magazine, which features New chapters of Fushigi yuugi Genbu Kaiden, as well as old chapters of Fushigi Yuugi. |
