| The Ayashi no Ceres Anime Started airing on Japanese television sets back in spring of 2000. The 14 manga volumes were compressed into 24 anime episodes. Done by the same crew who are responsible for the Fushigi Yuugi Anime brought our favorite hagaromo hunting group to life. But with the series being done in only 24 episodes a few things changed, and even left out. Shuro was one of the unfortunate that was left behind from the jump from manga to anime. Although she did make an appearance towards the end of the series, freeing Aya from the Mikages, her sacrifice seemed confusing, and rather pointless (okay not pointless since Aya was freed, but you know what I mean) , since it wasnt established that they were friends and what they had gone through. Those who didnt read the manga would be having a WTF? moment.
