[Fushigi Yuugi]
This is a tale of a priestess that comes from another world. She will be called forth when the land is in great chaos and on the brink of collapse. Her task is to gather
the seven Seishi's, and summon the best god. She will then be granted three wishes.
The story is itself an incantation, And the one who reads it to the very end, will be given the same abilities as the girl in the story.
Because you see, the story begins, and becomes real, once the page is turned ...
Fushigi Yuugi, was Watase-sama's real first big Shoujo hit! In Fushigi yuugi there are four priestess (to summon the beast god in for different lands, Hokkan, Sairo, Konan, and kouto). The four beast gods are Genbu of the north (which governs Hokkan) Byakko of the west (which Governs Sairo), Suzkau of the South (Konan), and Seiryuu of the east (Kouto).
Thus far, Watase-sama has told the Stories of Suzaku, and Seriyuu in the original Fushigi Yuugi Series. The Legend of Genbu is currently being serialized in Yuu Watase's Perfect World Magazine (which you can find out more in depth information about Perfect World, and the FY series over at DestinyCalls.net. ) There has been a total of 5 Tankoubon released.
